Jeffrey Purtee, CPA
I like solving puzzles and problems. Nothing is more puzzling to a lot of folks than keeping the company or personal financial books and preparing tax forms, what with all the changing laws. I understand.
That’s where I come in. This is how I can help you.
Simply put – I love helping people and I love accounting, specifically bookkeeping and tax preparation. My goal is to make either process or both as easy as possible for you.
Today’s technology is amazing and I use it as much as possible to keep your costs as low as possible. I value your time and will not force you to come see me and sit down for a formal meeting, although it is still an option if you enjoy sitting and talking.
I am a native of greater Nashville — Ezell-Harding Christian School, Class of 2002. My wife, Laura, and I have decided to raise our family here. I received a business degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2007 and a masters in Accounting from Strayer University in 2013. Laura and I met at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at UT.
Laura and I have two kids, Eloise and Ellis, plus a crazy American Eskimo dog, Oakley. We keep our family life balanced with our work as best we can with church, softball, T-ball, and most importantly, time spent with our siblings, cousins, friends, and parents near and far.
So if you want to talk about your bookkeeping or tax preparation needs — or about the plants you’re growing in your garden, the books you’re reading or certainly the Vols — feel free to contact us. I can help you.
